Hunting for meat with Springfield rifle

Hawkins and Marcus Oswalt of Oswalt’s Building Materials in Mathiston examine the Springfield rifle bought at the store in 1931. Wiley Dobbs, Hawkins’ grandfather, purchased the rifle from Noah Ellis, Oswalt’s grandfather, as a first gun for Dennis Dobbs of Ackerman.
