North Mississippi Medical Center’s Honor Guard has replaced both the American flag and the POW flag that fly over NMMC-Eupora.

From time to time, flags become worn and are in need of replacing. A new flag program has been implemented for all NMMC facilities and the Honor Guard has accepted that responsibility.

The Honor Guard also assures that once a flag has reached the point of needing replacing a proper ceremony is performed for the removal and replacement as well as a proper disposal of the worn flags.

Currently the Tupelo American Legion or the Boy Scouts perform the disposal ceremonies for flags obtained by the NMMC Honor Guard.
